Field report Nº 01 — Dental · EU
Basiq Dental is a European wholesaler and specialist in dental consumables, instruments and practice supplies for dental practices, practice groups and larger dental organisations in several European countries.
Station 01 · Starting point
Basiq Dental grew fast and its IT landscape grew with it: many systems, vendors, licences and support processes. That made a complete overview hard to get, and the impact of changes, outages and upgrades just as hard to determine.
Station 02 · Our role
OneMinded combines advice, strategy and realisation. We support the future AI strategy and the development of a demand-management framework between IT and the business.
Station 03 · The turn
We built an interactive application where systems, their connections, vendors and support come together in one overview. That makes the impact of a change faster to determine.
Station 04 · Destination
Basiq Dental has more overview and control over its IT landscape. A solid technical infrastructure is in place on which new applications can be built, with less dependence on separate external vendors. Collaboration at every level also helped build a mature AI community inside the organisation.
OneMinded is not a traditional IT supplier for us, but truly an extension of our organisation. They combine advice, strategy and realisation and take ownership of the result. With the IT landscape app they have made our fragmented IT landscape clear, so we have more control and can determine the impact of changes, outages and upgrades faster. They also look beyond the handover: they examine how a solution is actually used, keep improving, and help build a foundation that makes us ready for the future.
